Aidee Ilochonwu earned her law degree from the University of Uyo in Nigeria, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2005. She holds an MBA in Law and Management from Bangor University in Wales, a Diploma in Legal Office Administration from Algonquin College in Ottawa, and a Certificate in Contract Management from Mount Royal University in Calgary. She was called to the Alberta Bar in 2025 and is a member of the Law Society of Alberta.

Aidee’s professional background spans the healthcare, higher education, and oil and gas sectors, providing her with valuable insight into complex workplace environments. Her diverse experience enables her to understand legal issues from both employer and employee perspectives, allowing her to provide balanced, practical advice to clients on matters involving wrongful dismissal, severance, employment contracts, human rights, and workplace disputes.

In addition to Employment Law, Aidee represents clients in personal injury matters and draws on her broader civil litigation experience to deliver practical, strategic, and effective advocacy tailored to each client’s needs.

Aidee is an active member of the Association of Women Lawyers (Calgary) and volunteers with Calgary Legal Guidance. She is known for her thoughtful advocacy, client-centered approach, and commitment to ensuring clients understand their rights and options. She works closely with clients to help them navigate legal challenges with confidence and clarity.

Outside of her legal practice, Aidee enjoys listening to true crime podcasts and going for walks.
