Folasade Olugbemi

Folasade holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria and was called to the Nigerian Bar in November 2009 as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. She also completed the Chartered Secretaries Course from the Chartered Governance Institute (previously known as The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, ICSA) UK.

Folasade’s legal career commenced as an in-house counsel with a major financial Institution in Nigeria. She progressively practiced with so many corporations within the private sector. Folasade’s roles ranged from in-house counsel to contract administrator and company secretary.

Upon her relocation to Canada, Folasade completed the Canadian law equivalency examinations to satisfy the requirements of the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada. She has since been called to the Alberta Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor.

At EO Law, Folasade provides a wide range of legal services to her clients. Her primary areas of practice include Family Law, Personal Injury, Immigration, Criminal Law and Real Estate.

 

Folasade is an active member in the Community and has volunteered with Closer to home, Women in Need Society, and Elizabeth Fry to aid community development programs.

Folasade radiates so much joy, energy and confidence and works with clients to create value for them. She enjoys dancing and touring amazing and beautiful cities in the world.
