Oluwagbeminiyi Olofin, often referred to as ‘Gbemi’ is an internationally trained legal professional with a passion for justice and a wealth of experience navigating the complexities of the global legal landscape. Born and raised in Nigeria, Gbemi developed a keen interest in Law from an early age, inspired by a commitment to upholding the principles of fairness and equity.
After obtaining a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Lagos in Nigeria, Gbemi proceeded to the Nigerian Law School where she was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2010. Subsequently, she embarked on a journey to broaden her legal horizon by pursuing advanced studies in International Law, earning a Master’s degree from the University of Swansea in the United Kingdom.
In the course of her career, Gbemi has worked in various capacities including at the Ministry of Justice in Nigeria, where she honed her skills in contracts and negotiations and gained invaluable experience. Her education, work and life experiences have shaped her into someone who communicates effectively and fosters positive relationships.
Gbemi and her family moved to Canada in 2019 and she is presently a Student-at-Law with EO Law. Beyond the love for law, Gbemi enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with family.
